Welcome to the author guide for JOOFIN. Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure that you have read and complied with all the guidelines outlined below. Manuscripts that do not conform to these instructions may be returned to the author without review.

2. Manuscript Preparation

Authors should prepare their manuscripts using standard word processing software (such as Microsoft Word, saved in .doc or .docx format). Please adhere to the following structural and formatting requirements:

• Page Setup: Standard A4 paper size with 2.5 cm (1 inch) margins on all four sides.
• Font Style: Times New Roman, 12-point font size for the main body text, single or 1.5 line spacing.
• Word Count: Research articles should ideally be between 4,000 and 6,000 words, including references and appendices.
• Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear, grammatically correct English or Indonesian as applicable to the specific issue scope.

3. Structure of the Manuscript

A standard research paper submitted to JOOFIN should be organized into the following sequential sections:

1. Title Page: Contains the paper title, author name(s), full institutional affiliation(s), and corresponding author email address.
2. Abstract: A concise summary of 150 to 250 words outlining the research background, methodology, key findings, and conclusions. Avoid abbreviations and citations in the abstract.
3. Keywords: Provide 3 to 5 relevant keywords separated by semicolons for indexing purposes.
4. Introduction: Background of the study, literature review gap, research objectives, and significance.
5. Research Method: Detailed explanation of the approach, models, data collection, and analytical techniques used.
6. Results and Discussion: Presentation of empirical or theoretical findings followed by comprehensive analysis and interpretation.
7. Conclusion: Summary of findings, implications, limitations, and future research directions.
8. References: Complete list of cited literature formatted according to APA style guidelines.

4. Citation and Reference Style

All in-text citations and reference listings must strictly follow the APA (American Psychological Association) 7th Edition format. Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote.

• In-text citations should include the author's last name and publication year (e.g., Smith, 2024).
• Reference entries must be sorted alphabetically by the author's last name.
• Ensure all DOI links are provided where applicable for online journal articles.

5. Online Submission Process

JOOFIN operates an entirely online submission and peer-review system. Follow these steps to submit your work:

• Register for an account on the journal platform or log in if you already have an account.
• Click on the "New Submission" link on your author dashboard.
• Upload your manuscript file (blinded version without author details if required for double-blind peer review).
• Provide metadata including title, abstract, keywords, and author details in the designated input fields.
• Review all submission details and submit the final manuscript for editorial review.

6. Peer Review Policy

JOOFIN follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process. Both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous to each other throughout the evaluation process. Submitted manuscripts are initially screened by the editorial board for scope alignment and similarity check (plagiarism threshold maximum 20%). Papers passing the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers.
